Please, nothing new about this known issue :

- Cleanup sometimes doesn't finish optimizing registry

For me this problem is repetitive and I must stop cleanup at step 2 not yet  finished ...

This Beta is over. We are waiting for a new one.

Whilst this beta is over, the current regular release is the same version 17.2.2288 and the same build number 17.2.3419.0 as the old beta.

So there is a very high likelihood that the same problem still exists.

A manual program update reports I have the latest version.

This Beta is over. We are waiting for a new one.

Whilst this beta is over, the current regular release is the same version 17.2.2288 and the same build number 17.2.3419.0 as the old beta.

So there is a very high likelihood that the same problem still exists.

No arguments but the post or complaint should be posted in the regular part of thee forum. not in the Beta section.

Can't update virus definitions or the program (it says: "unknown error"). I downloaded v.2288 offline and clean installed it after I used the uninstall tool to remove v.2286 that didn't update, either. The same problem. I also downloaded the full virus definitions file and installed it.
