Macrium fix doesn't work. We still need a fix from either Macrium or Avast.

Strange, I have no issues at all with Macrium (free) and Avast...

I have installed the new version of avast and I already have the add-on in 64bit firefox.
When I close and reopen firefox, the settings of the add-in are not saved and I have to reconfigure them, instead, in chrome this does not happen.

Hello folks,
I already talked with one of QA, but wish to discuss with you, users my problem which is not solve from the stable builds of versions 17.
First of all, I have no another antiviruses, but using Adguard, ad blocker.
Does anyone using Adguard with Avast 17?
I cannot.
When I installing Avast, everything going fine.
But, after installation, Avast reporting that protection is in passive mode.
Because I have some other  protection.
When I disable passive mode, protection is turned on, Windows defender is turned off and everything working fine.
Only until first reboot.
Then, boom.
System crashed, and recovery apeered.
I cannot provide any log, because I have no way to boot up my system, only to reimage to clean state.
IF I dont turn off passive mode, I could restart, but protection is inactive.
I suspect that its some conflict with Adguard, because I have no other software.
I cannot live without adguard, really.
:)

I would suggest you start your own new topic in the regular Avast Free Antivirus / Pro Antivirus / Internet Security/ Premier forum - not the beta sub forum as the beta has ended - avast has released this to the regular update stream.

There is also method in my apparent madness, this topic is going to grow and probably fast as the other release version topics did. Your post soon gets lost (dropping of the chronological order in an old topic), having your own topic keeps all of your information in the same topic.

I too have a license for Cleanup Premium, and while it will scan, it will not resolve found issues.  I do have an outstanding ticket on this.  Any ideas here?

Please forgive my cynicism, but does the lack of rapid growth suggest that this Beta isn't too bad?
I've held off updating from 2276 due to the problems that others have encountered with newer versions, some of which seem to be Beta at best.

1. already mentioned in other topic, possibly next week.

2. I rather doubt there will be any major new features, these would take longer to introduce. There may well be improved functions/features that weren't ready for the last regular release.

3. If you are bored I suggest you go out for a run, it is great for working up a sweat and plenty of thinking time ;)
