From what I interpret from that screen cap, Bob, that's different than "registration not needed anymore with avast 17." I would have thought that with a supposed concept of "registration not needed anymore with avast 17," there would not even be a need for specifying that "You are registered" and no need for a date of registration and an expiration date. I would have thought that with a true case of registration not needed anymore, all that info would be greyed out on the Free version and only active on the paid versions.
Okay, just for the sake of me trying to understand this, let's just hypothetically say that avast did not come up with so much as a single new version in the next 12 months. Will avast prompt YOU to register your avast 17 again given that you have an expiration date of 2-25-2018? Or would it just update itself and give you another 12 months automatically or what?
