As has been told in other threads, it is a known issue and avast is working on it.

As has been told in other threads, it is a known issue and avast is working on it.

I would have hoped that they would be working a bit faster on something so fundamentally important. It didn't take them so long to modify the Settings window to make it resizeable.

I think the issue is making trying to make the initial UI screen fit depending on the users screen resolution. This for me is too complex and I can't understand why they are so reluctant to allow users to resize it according to 'their' requirements.

People say "god work in mysterious ways", but the ways of avast are even more mysterious I would say.

avast is releasing beta's while they know there are problems with it.
Very clearly avast doesn't seem to know/realize what a beta is supposed to be.

The UI issues will be fixed in 17.3.

The UI will not be resizeable but it will fit to the screen of the users screen resolution.

I know that and I have expressed my concern at avast's reluctance to allows the user to set it at a size that is suited for their use.

The UI is bloody massive, I have a minimal installation so there is acres of blank space' and I have a 1920X1220 resolution monitor and even with that the UI eats space. God I used to love the old minimalist skins of avast 4.x.
