wrong password to access settings
« on: March 03, 2017, 11:23:06 PM »
Hi
I can't access settings or run a scan in Avast free on Windows 10. I enter my Avast account password or my Passwords master password it just says wrong password. I have tried resetting my account password. I have tried downloading and reinstalling Avast free. nothing works. I have tried to remove Avast but it wont let me because it needs the password. Any ideas?

You haver tried the wrong passwords.

Your account password nor the main password for avast passwords are for the AV.

Thanks to those that replied. The above link worked for me.
It looks like I need 3 different passwords. Avast.com account password. An access to settings password and a master password for Avast Passwords.
