Hello,

Seems that Jetico is doing the best. Comodo did ok, maybe I will need to switch from Comodo.

Outpost Pro also does well ;D.

The one surprise is the difference between the Zone Alarm Pro and ZA Free.
In the 'Firewalls outbound application filtering VS Leak Tests' ZA Pro gets 19 out of 27 and the ZA Free gets 4 out of 27.

Zone Alarm Pro and ZA Free in the 'Global firewalls 'outbound application filtering' ranking' ZA Pro gets (72.2%) and ZA Free gets (14.8%).

So the Free version is really being crippled, not just by a little but by a large amount.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Yes, David, it seems ZA Free is being crippled a lot. In the old days, before ZoneLabs sold out to whoever it is now (I've forgotten), I do not think this was the case. I hate buy-outs as this usually means a good product gets screwed ... as do the users.

I also may have to change to Jetico after all these years of using ZA Free. Some research is need by me.

Yet, ZA Free seems to do so well keeping out (or in) the bad programs.

I just received answer from Sunbelt , they looking at these results and there should be sooner or later some response related (either update to Kerio PF or info what was wrong in test) ...

Thanks for posting Dwarden... it will be good if Sunbelt say something very fast.
After these results I really thought changing to Jetico, downloaded and waiting for test...  ::)

In fact, after tested, some comments to drop:
1. It was not detected by Windows Security Central. This does not upset me, but, why? Booted, tryed to repair, the same...
2. The new version that is being developed won't be - most probably - a freeware anymore. I don't know if they will release two versions (one, limited and free and other paid). But, it seems it will just be a shareware as other products of the same company  :'(

Hello,

Tech I noticed this too which is why I have chosen to stay with my Comodo Firewall which just got a program update about a week ago. So Comodo seems to be staying on top of things.

I sent comodo an email about the recent recent leaktest results

Hi,

Yes, Comodo Personal Firewall is more advanced version,
overcomes mostly all the fixes.

I don't want to set any wrong expectations about the release date,
but it is to be very shortly.

I plan to stick with comodo as it works for me and the next version will hopefully be a big improvement !

Hello,

This is one of the things I love about Comodo, they have very good support they answer in a matter of about 20 minutes, they provide this excelent support for their free products as well as their paid products just like Alwil. Also Comodo just came out with a new backup program.

To check out the new backup program click the link. (Yes this program is also free of charge)

Downloaded Jetico a few mins ago. I'll try setting it up next time I am off-line.
