Hello avast! forum members,

This poll is open for an unlimited amount of time. Each member gets 1 vote.

I believe Beta 1 was much better because it had an icon in the taskbar, and it was a much easier interface.

I am still using Microsoft Anti-spyware and have not tried Windows Defender so I really do not know. Having said that, I put in my vote for Anti-spyware ... though it has never found anything.

Edit:

Thanks ... vote updated!

I personally preferred the initial release of windows antispyware (beta 1).  The new one seems less configurable and really plain.

Hi,

I completely agree which is why I voted option 1. (Microsoft's attempt to make something better failed and made the program worse in my opinion)

I don't see an option for, I haven't tried either one and have no intention of doing so.

I simply don't trust MS to look after my system security, after all they have too much form for being the opposite of secure.

I agree... anyway, as usual, we're looking to the future and won't be able to stay on the past Antispyware version.
I voted on 1 for the same reasons.
