I see AVG's vulnerability being posted.

Even Avast is among the mix but no vulnerability has been posted about it!

And lot of other antivirus vendors say these holes are very minor and some say they have been fixed years ago.

vlk has spoke about the matter on avg see:

I am thinking about uninstalling all AV software... or maybe I should give Avira another try after many years, because the latest Avast! Free is a disaster.

LifeHacker is saying this about "The Best Antivirus App for Windows", what do you think about it?
"Windows has more antivirus programs than we can count, and none of them are quite perfect. Right now, we recommend Avira for the best balance between protection, ease of use, and cost.
Update: Our former pick, Avast!, has scored lower in antivirus testing according to both AV Comparatives and AV-Test than it has in previous years. It’s also added annoying pop-ups, added itself to email signatures without asking, and the company’s SafeZone browser has come under fire for security vulnerabilities. So, we’ve decided to update our pick.

Very advisable considering the LifeHacker article straightedge posted is over a year old: Eric Ravenscraft 2/24/16 10:00am.

I also tend to judge things on my own personal experience of a product, AV or otherwise.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security
