Unable to close desktop interface

Hi all, I downloaded the latest update ( to 17.3.3443.0 ) and now find I can't close the desktop interface after I have opened the program. The cross in the right hand corner does nothing to close the interface?

How do you actually close it ?
As a temp you could use the Alt key plus F4 key, if that isn't what you have been doing.

Have (or did) you another Anti-Virus installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?

Hi, thanks for the reply. This update was giving me the BSoD on boot, I uninstalled it and installed an earlier version and have no further problems to date, so I won't be installing the update again .
