(17.3.2290) Browser Cleanup
« on: March 24, 2017, 11:55:06 PM »

What does "regularly" mean ??? When, how often ???
Is there any way for me to do this manually as in older versions ???
(I was asked that question yesterday after a presentation and couldn't answer the question.)

Button the scan of the browser and that works with all since the previous versions only worked with internet explorer and not with chrome. Also implement the protection of the default buffer engine and prevent other programs from changing it.

It's usually once per 7 days, when browser is launched

Thanks. Just wish you would stop re-arranging things with every release. :)
Smart scan is also more that just a simple scan. It's not the same as just being able to check for
browser add-ons.

Back to my original question, why isn't it still available within Avast.

No idea Bob, that's something for Martin to answer. Anyway, if you should get asked again (during/after one of your presentations), you can send them to the standalone installer (if needed). Cheers.
