With avast running, Edge, but more so Firefox browsers use 1gb, then 2, then 4gb of my 32gb ram and then start slowing down even with all my ram free. Then the firefox.exe grows to 8gb or so and completely slows down to a halt of grows to 14 gb tops or crashes. Your free av software is hooked into the browsers in so many ways and it is eating memory and never releasing it. What settings or check boxes should I uncheck to not make my Firefox grow forever in memory yet still have real time protection?
