Stop lieing about finding something
« on: March 27, 2017, 05:50:07 PM »
Every time avast Runs a scan, when finished the notification says look what we found. Meanwhile the scan was clean it's always clean, stop using click bait to get me to open the app so you can display your ads.

We can't help/give you information if you don't provide details.

What has avast found ?
What avast software and what version ?
What Android version and such ?

I think the OP's point is that nothing was found. The app displays a "look what we found" message after a clean scan.

Yes, that is the whole point.

When I see this "look what we found" message, I just ignore and dismiss the message as I would expect avast to alert if it had found 'anything.' This is misleading and should be abandoned or reworded.

All you get when you check the "look what we found" message are ads.

Hi, sorry about the click bait, it has been reported to the colleagues concerned! If you have all your shields turned on, we're continuously running in the background to keep you safe. Feel free to turn off your scheduled scans if you prefer, and just run a manual scan every so often.

Glad you are going to fix it and admit it's click bait.

Thank you

I found that some of the ads are misleading.  Ads state that viruses are found or issues have arised that Avast should have taken care of
