« on: March 17, 2006, 11:22:26 PM »
i obviously have a problem.
when i open my browser i've only 1 or 2 minutes to navigate because "...the application will be closed...".this happens with internet explorer and mozzilla.
i scanned the pc (my avast is update at 0611-2. 17/3/06 vps)and i found the beagle-jd worm in windows\temp\_avast4 and now my interface shows me that the status scanner is infected.this new scanner status appears to me after i deleted the worm;my browsers carry on to close them.please help me.thank u

Have you checked if you have the common files of Bagle?
I have had the problem of my browsers being closed with another Bagle virus.

Go to System32 folder and delete ldr64.dll ("unlocker" may help if you can't) -you can send it to the chest first-, and also check this key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\ldr64
(this key shouldn't exist).

Also, if you have a firewall you should check if your browser (or any application with internet access) is connecting to any strange URL (typical from this type of virus).
