So the new bill that is looking very likely to pass S.J Res 34 gives providers kind of free range to sell any data they collect from us without asking or even notifying me. Will the Secureline VPN mask or protect my data at all from that?

I dont quite get how the vpn works as even with the VPN on I'd be going through my providers network, so is it just masking where that information is coming from, is it still out there for them to sell? Or does it hide it completely for them?
