Cancelling at 99%

Hi, updated to the latest Avast version, and now it seems to be cancelling scans at 99%. I don't get the audio cue for the scan finishing either, it's acting as though its cancelled. Anyone else noticed this?

What was your previous antivirus prior to having avast?
Windows OS fully updated?

Windows 7, fully updated, 64 bit, and only ever used Avast. Have Malware Bytes installed too.

Edit: Malware scan came back clean, as did 99% of the avast scan. Tried to visit a website earlier that had some kind of redirect on it, but noscript prevented it. Is there any chance its a virus or something?

Hi,

This is a known bug and will be fixed in a future version. The scan completes, however, the toaster says "Scan Canceled - 99%". which isn't true.

There have been several program updates since this was first reported and it still is not fixed with v17.4.2294.  How can this be soooooo hard to fix especially since it was introduced in a fairly recent update?
