avast! can't be blamed in this case just because Vista is not in its final realease. Vista is in its deep beta stage, therefore full of bugs and not recommended for using as your primary OS unles you are registered Beta tester for Microsoft.
I am sure avast! will work perfectly with Vista too, once Vista goes gold.
