Scan stuck at 0%

I am using AVAST Internet Security and is up to date. But whenever I try to run a full scan it never show progress and is always stuck at 0%. I allowed it to run for a good 3 hours but nothing happened. Also it takes a lot of time for AVAST to load after system startup. When this bug in the new version  will be fixed?

- Which version of AIS..?
- OS..? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP/Build..?)
- Other security related software installed..?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..?

Win 10 64 Bit. No other antivirus is installed. I am using AVAST for the last 3 years. Never had any problem with previous versions. Problem started when it got 2017 update.

I also tested the product on Win 7 Sp1 64 bit. There also same problem. I can run Quick scan, Smart scan,  Explorer and USB drive scan. But full scan is always stuck at 0%. Reinstalled AVAST using AVAST Uninstaller and offline setup file and even formatted my system. But nothing helped.

It can take a while until it shows some progress. How long did you wait..?

I left it for at least 3hours.
