Free or not?
« on: April 06, 2017, 03:18:01 PM »
A few days ago i subscribed for 1 month free trial of secureline and i entered my credit card informations, but despite it was said that it was free i have been charged and some money was taken from my account.

I'm demanding my money back asap and expecting an explanation.

It seems nobody cares.. Should i really begin legal actions against? Becuase if nothing else, this looks like a fraud. You can't take peoples' money without their consent, can you?

It would be free for 30 days use, if you don't uninstall and cancel the payment information then it would be processed after the 30 day free trial.

Given what you said in your other topic, it doesn't look like you cancelled the trial and payment:
3 days left :)

So this is my last day, it was good to know you :D farewell secureline

Where are you demanding your money back ?
That can only be done through the support ticket system - Support Ticket Refund - https://support.avast.com/support/tickets/new?form=2.

First, thanks for replying.

You quoted me from my previous topic, it was my 7 days trial and i stopped using it when it ended (there were no credit card thing back when)

1-2 days after my trial ended i was offered one 30 days trial too, but to able to get it i had to enter my credit card informations so i accepted it. It was said my infos are only required in case if i continue to use it at  the end of my 30 days trial, so they could renew my subscription.

But i only started it 5 days ago. I'm still in my 30 days. And i already cancelled auto-renewal of my subscription at the same day i got it from my account page.

I'll file a ticket now.

You're welcome.
OK I wasn't thinking that you had two bites at the trial.

Essentially you will have proceed with the support ticket refund request.
