I have SecureLine VPN turned off in its "Settings".
But the icon turns up in the System Tray sometimes. There's no option to close it.
Why is it appearing and how do I close the icon when it mistakenly appears?

Cleanup - It says something like "Cleanup your computer" with no explanation.
I've disabled it because its not clear what happens - will it let me know what it wants to delete, or will it just go ahead and do so without giving me a choice?
I wish this was made clear without me having to write this post.

The cleanup function in the free avast version only reports its findings as far as I'm aware. If you actually have it proceed/cleanup then I'm sure it would go to the avast store where you could purchase it.

I have never installed the cleanup component as I take responsibility for my system and what gets installed, so I don't need something like cleanup. So I can't speak from personal experience on the cleanup component on what it allows/does in respect of avast free.

For others this might be something they are interested in.
