Re-evaluate false positive URL
« on: April 20, 2017, 03:37:39 PM »
Hello Everyone,

How do I get Avast to re-evaluate a false positive website?

The website was previously infected, but I have cleaned it up and deleted all old content. Google, Norton and others have approved this site as safe.

I have submitted a ticket to re-evaluate, but the ticket got closed because I do not have a Avast license. I do not use Avast as my AV.

Best regards,
Edvinas

Hello Milo,

I saw this URL before but was afraid to use it, because it says "Report" instead of "Check" or something to that nature :)

I have gone ahead and submitted the website with a description that the website is a false positive.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Edvinas

Quick update:

If anyone has/had issue and the website was cleaned and is safe now please use the link provided by Milos.

Took a few days but the URL is no longer being reported as unsafe.

@Milos: Thanks!
