Avast Business Antivirus 20.10

Hi,

Avast Business Antivirus version 20.10 has just been released, January 13, 2021.

Release Summary

This release contains new improvements and bug fixes to our Avast Business Antivirus client.

Avast Business Antivirus 20.10 will be available for new installations straight away. All existing devices with Avast Business Antivirus 20.9 or lower will start the automatic upgrade to 20.9 at a later time.

If you wish to upgrade your devices to 20.10 prior to the automatic upgrade, then you can create a new Task (Update device – Program update task) from your console.

A system reboot will be required to complete the installation. There will be no forced reboot unless you have set this in your device policy settings. Servers will never reboot, regardless of your device policy settings.

Resolved issues

•   VPN will not automatically install when un-selected during configuration of installation
•   Fixed "Next century" option on restart dialogue - now is correctly accepted
•   UI now opens on scan results correctly when the UI is minimized during scan
•   Fixed problem with creation of rescue disk on Windows 7 and 8
•   Fixed issue with resolving "Advanced threats" step in smart scan
•   Fixed crash in service
•   Fixed crash in IDP agent

New version, new problem. After upgrade clients to 20.10 I cannot open any device in on-premise console with this error.

We've had quite a few issues with the last update! 
The only way we've been able to get it to work without a BSOD is to have the firewall turned off - but many of the clients are not seeing the connected policy.
Please help!
