avast gaming mode not adding games automatically.

I recently had to send my laptop off for repair. I just got the replacement yesterday. and for some reason on this machine avast gaming mode is not adding games automatically, even ones that it has added before.

I have tried a fresh install of avast.

Same exact machine you sent off, I assume?  Or is it a replacement for the original?

Its a replacement, same model though. I sent the machine off and they sent a replacement.

I turned off game mode and turned it back on, its now adding steam games. but it still isn't adding my other games that it was adding on old machine.

Yes, your original post did not make that clear.  Assumption had to be that it was original unless stated otherwise.

Look around in your replacement machine for trial based security software and remove.  After removal, reboot.

The machine doesn't come with any bloatware. the only piece of software it comes preinstalled with is, razer synapse.

I have gaming mode turned on, my computer game tibia put into gaming mode, and yet avast just tried to run a full scan. no idea why when its set to run them at noon my time not 8 pm
