Avast SecureLine VPN Disconnects on Mac OS Yosemite v10.10.5

Having disconnection issues as well using Mac OS Yosemite v10.10.5 with Avast Secureline VPN v2.1.4 (Build 47288). I've used many of the different servers listed as options in the drop-down, but basically it eventually disconnects pretty much every day.

I looked around for logs in the /Applications/Avast Secureline VPN.app/Contents/ but couldn't find any to attach to this reply.

Please advise. I have a paid license till 8/2018 and would like to feel like I bought a product that is worthy of its price.

Hello,
  thank you for contacting us, we are not aware of such issue at this moment. Could you please describe more the conditions under which the client disconnects (i.e. what is your connectivity to the internet)? The client is expected to disconnect on the computer transition to sleep and reconnect on wake up. If the network connection establishment would take too long, it could be one of the reasons.
