7-day trial version of SecureLine VPN - Thoughts
« on: April 28, 2017, 04:28:46 PM »
As this is a trial version integrated with my copy of AIS it seems to be working well.  But, there are things happening that should not be?
  • I've tested for DNS leaks-none found
  • I've set router to run IPv6 connections only to find system is forward-facing the internet-so I've disabled IPv6 connectivity for now
  • Device Manager shows WAN device drivers normally hidden as visible on at least one VPN session
  • I'm getting Windows Device Performance & Health notifications when Avast VPN is off and not running
As I've got more than four .png files to attach, there will be a second post following:

[UPDATE:]

Purchased a one-year license which turned out to require an internet connection to insert.

Was a little surprised by that as the antivirus license does not require the internet to validate.

It's the reworking of the license system that is causing it.

Quite likely.  But a number of users say their vpn license will not insert; maybe we should suggest try inserting with a live internet connection?

Thereza already commented on the not working licensing several times.
