another new trojan

yet another new trojan that i can't find any info on, ewido caught , it lives in c:\windos\system32 and the file name is qpekxtzp.ssx the name of the malware is torjan.agent.qe anyone got any info on this one, i could not find anything about it on google. this one did not want inter net access at least.

Well ewido and avast are different and complimentary, ewido specialising in malware and many trojans are spyware and not viruses. So there will be times when ewido picks up something that basically doesn't harm your system but could be used to send spam, etc. that avast won't detect.

The filename that it detected looks like a randomly named file so you are unlikely to find anything on it. There is some on the trojan.agent.qe but most of the references are on Japanese or Chinese sites, the info on english sites just seems to refere to its being added to signature detection files with no information on the trojan. Have you tried to find any info on the ewido site ?

As we advised before you can send and new detections to avast and after investigation, if required they will include them in the VPS updates.
