New version of FileShield is killing my Opera 44.0.2510.1449. Very slow start, freezes, not resposive. 4 core CPU = 0-100% workload.

Thanks for update. I did clean install.  Here are some bugs i found:
1. Scanning files inside virus chest still not working.
2. When scanning by Smart scan or other virus tests, progress popup percentage does not match with percentage in main window. Also if i close popup, it reopen again sometimes.
3. When opening Notifications, it opens like game with 10 FPS. I think whole gui is slow but most noticeable is in notifications.
4. Selfdef.log contain this (Czech langugage) "Přístup pro zápis do souboru \Device\HarddiskVolume3\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\settings.manifest odepřen. [C:\Program Files\Common Files\AV\avast! Antivirus\backup.exe][2]" Also i have no file called settings.manifest in this location.

I would like to know if someone found those issues too. Thank you.

Today's pushed update broke my internet connection. Other systems on my LAN are fine, but were not yet updated. I had to do a system restore on the Win10 Pro desktop. I'll be skipping this update.

Having issues with latest discord related to discord's own sound implementation. A fix would be nice if possible.

Having problems playing Overwatch with this new update as it was working fine earlier today.

Now i am unable to launch the game using the blizzard launcher.  The Overwatch process pops up in task manager but that's it. If i disable File System Shield, the game launches no problem.

I tried adding the overwatch folder and battle.net folder to exclusions, but that did not work.

I am using Avast Free Antivirus

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled from the web with the same result. Finally found an old thread which advised to toggle all shields off then on. That actually worked.

Help.
I did an update to Avast 17.4.2294 this morning and after reboot, I was unable to get to any website using IE, Chrome, or Edge.  My internet connection seemed fine.  I can get email via Outlook.
I finally tried turning off Web Shield and then everything worked just fine.
As soon as I turn Web Shield back on, I cannot get to any website.  Not even this one.

I welcome any suggestions about what to do.

Repair Avast:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> Avast
2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

4. Reboot.

Thanks! fixed my problem

Edit; So it seems like i spoke too soon. Overwatch ran fine the first time after i ran the repair without having to disable the shield. But now im having the same problem again while trying to launch the game.

I also noticed that if i launch Overwatch, and dont end the Overwatch process in task manager,  the game will pop up immediately once i click on disable File System Shield.

Repair Avast:

2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

Sounded like a great idea.  But it didn't help me.  I am running Win 10 Pro, so I substituted Programs and Features for Add/Remove programs.  It looked very promising, but in the end it made no difference.

Any other ideas guys?

Is a repair doesn't fix it, best to start your own/new topic.
