Never ever install/use something from IObit !

They are proven thieves, provide false information about their tools and more.

Can't speak for all IO Bit products, but their IO Bit Uninstaller (free version) works very nice on Windows 10 64 Bit systems.

For me a company has to be trustworthy, if for whatever reason that trust is lost, then I seek out other options and there are many other uninstall programs.

Life without parole ;)

I apply this logic to companies selling retail products that have seriously hacked me off and I have never bought a product from them since that day. Two such companies, HP, Sony (of rootkit fame), it is pretty hard avoiding Sony given the consumer products they sell.

Everyone has an opinion and in my view, for a free product it does quite well. The editors and testers at pcmag.com also gave it a good review.  http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2461161,00.asp

IMO, pcmag not as trustworthy as they could be.  Included free CD's not worth the trouble to even look at.

So if I Uninstall it, can use CCleaner to do that or Reinstall Advanced Uninstaller but that seems to be a pain too. CCLeaner is the best free option for most things. So will have to do a very very bad thing and remove this AV and then reinstall it. Maybe that will fix Windows stupid issue of after am finished inmost any game, the Notification comes up and says Please Turn on windows Updates, too wierd.  So guess will wander round my account and see how to dlk the installer and then my Key File to activate it.

Hi ok, well did remove it clean it reboot a few times and after dling it and my license and finally reinstalling it, well yep still get that pesky Error again. Let see if can attach something it will show the code and yes Disabling Avast till next reboot stops this error. Yes it breaks pretty much all my games and even some of my applications now. This is crazy as it should have seen and found on the scan all of my programs and updated useabuility in them from Avast and allowing them to rtunm but no it did not, my Corel Quatro Pro won't load if avast is on now, steam games don't load and even a game that did doesn't now thats riders of icarus.  Oh what do we do now as Disabling Avast to even use my computer in most ways Something needs to be fixed in the Detection and then also in the Click to run  add to either a white list trusted list or what ever, and right now this feature is no where to be found.
Love my Games as am older and Disabled GW2 Aion BnS SWTOR and so many more.

Hi! WI-FI inspector blocks access for my mobile devices in my own home :(( . Both devices has avast anti-virus. But I can't update the DB because I can't get access. All was fine before 9th of June after the anti-virus downloaded the updates. I tried different software to find the reason. All software notified me, that the devices were connected and all is fine, but I couldn't open any pages via my browser. Meanwhile I can get access to internet from both devices at the shop of my friend.
I can't switch on|off this WI-FI inspector, Avast offers me only uninstall it. I really don't want to uninstall this component, but at the same time I want to get access to the internet from my devices.
