Behavior Shield alerts logged?
« on: May 11, 2017, 03:15:46 PM »
We had a few Behavior Shield alerts during the last couple of days on a machine running Avast Internet Security 17.

How could I review the details for these alerts (date and time, details for the event etc.)?

Thank you.

You can't. For some reason, Behavior Shield doesn't log events under Notifications menu. I'll poke developers to see when are they planning to include this...

Perhaps some other logs? e.g. textual ones.
Any information will be f value.

Unfortunately no. At least not for Behavior Shield that is.

There are logs here:
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log

But I couldn't actually open them. I agree that current design is rather stupid and I've been ranting about it for a while. There should be a central menu which has all the detections listed for all shields. And one "system" wide that logs all errors that avast! has encountered. It would be so much easier for everyone if it was this way.
