EDGE & Store not working after latest update to premier

after the latest avast update (09/5), edge & store will not now connect to the internet. It would appear that a script error is the cause:- script7002 error code 00002ee7 whenever either try to go to a web page. This has only been occurring since the update. Running on latest windows creator build.

Anyone got any ideas?

Perform a clean installation with the off-line installer for the latest avast version.
