But you can ask a personal discount here sales (at) avast.com telling your 'history'

Actually trying to work deals here with universities (so that universities distribute packages to every student in residence) is an extremely possible and good goal, especially since the product is relatively cheap.  Mine uses Norton which apparently costs them a bundle.

No there is no discount for students they said, only Educational and non profit organizations like listed on the site. So because of this I will purchase avast! full price.

Finaly I have purchases avast! Professional  . Thank you Alwil for providing such a great product for home use free. And an even greater product for a price that beats others.  .

I could have bought a program like Norton because it would have cost me more then $40 (e.g. System Resources)
