I recently purchased the Avast Secureline VPN & it was operating perfectly until today. Now when I attempt to connect I receive the following error--> "The negotiation with the VPN server failed. Verify the server address & try reconnecting"

Can anyone offer assistance please?

Try the other servers.

does it happen to all the locations in the list or only for some of them? If you open an about dialog, which product version do you have?
