I am trying to install Avast Mac Security but every time I try the installation fails. Any help would be appreciated.
Computer:iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011)
macOS Sierra Version 10.12
3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
32 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
When I try to install, I get the following message:
The installation failed.
The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance
After the failed installation, I'm able to open the Avast Mac Security app but there is the following message:
You are not protected
Cannot connect to service
