Weird dispositive connected to my router?
« on: June 15, 2017, 09:22:37 PM »
Hello, I did a wifi scan in my router and it showed me a dispositive connected named MTN Electronics co ltda., could it be a malicious software or anything? I suspect it is a wifi tv that is connected but I can't confirm since this is my cousin router, I searched about it on google but didn't find anything relevant...

Is there any possibility this is a malware? Thanks for the help.

How did you search? ..... It is the first that pops up

So there's nothing wrong with it? Is it probably the tv? I was curious because sometimes when I scan its names change to "unknown" and avast didn't show a smartphone or computer icon...
Sorry for asking, I had some problems with virus in the past and I'm a bit paranoid.  :-\

I scanned a couple of times and the device wasn't there. I still think it may be the WiFi tv, but as long as avast didn't say anything about this device I guess there's nothing to worry about?
