Avast Def update
« on: June 08, 2017, 08:05:22 PM »
I am having trouble updating my Definitions running Avast 17.4.2294. Iget the message on my windows 10 that I need to update my Definitions. But when I manual update I get the error Downloading file servers.def.vpx failed. Is there a way to download the updates from a download other than going thru the Avast Free download?

I never called you stupid.
Only thing I asked you is to post in the correct forum.

Try downloading the full virus database.

Full virus definitions update, https://www.avast.com/download-update - ensure you download the correct one for avast 2014 or avast 2015 version, 152MB ish.

Save it to your hard disk and run it when complete.
