You're Not Connected to a Network?
« on: June 19, 2017, 01:22:52 PM »
Hi,

I have an interesting problem with Premium Avast 17.4.2294.

My vista pc is connected and working perfectly on the net but in the firewall settings page I see "You're Not Connected to a Network".

Yet the network is shown under settings, is this something I should be concerned about?

Thanks,

Martin

It simply means that you don't have a network set up for communicating between computers in your network.
That's totally different from having internet access. :)

Hi Bob,

Thanks very much for the reply, that puts my mind at rest. ;D

Odd thing is that I am connected to my home network and can see the other pc's perfectly.

I wonder why avast doesn't pick them up?
