netsysdms.exe in Virus Chest as FileRepMalware
« on: June 25, 2017, 05:34:58 PM »
Since a couple of days now I am getting alerts from Avast about a Windows file C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\netsysdms.exe

I run Avast Pro Build 17.4.2294 under Windows 10 and the virus definition is up to date.

The files is added to the Virus Chest as FileRepMalware virus every minute for some time and it stops for about 30 minutes and then again starts to add it with the subsequent alert.

I did not find any report about this file anywere on internet.

Any clue if this is dangerous and what to do?

Thanks

So I should change Avast for something else?
I paid for the pro version and now I have to download a pay for other third party tools?
Is Avast involved in this scheme?

This is free service. And free programs are being used.
