how long do I have to wait for a refund or at least an answer? It's already been a long time.

I'm worried I'm about to have the same issue. Have any posters successfully got a refund?

The short answer is yes, but you would have to browse the forums to see that.  One of the issues you don't see all of those that got there refund, some report back whilst many don't.

If you carry out the actions (submit a support ticket) and qualify for a refund (submission in the 30 day guarantee period), then you should get it.

This is an old topic when completions took longer, the new system has sped that up, but it is still going to take number of working days.

I've sent three requests through the automated system, but haven't received any confirmation e-mail at all. It's only three days until the 30-days to be up.

Should it take a full working day to confirm that Avast has received my request, and there will be no further problems with a refund?

The fact that you have multiple submissions could well be your issue, they are handled in FiFo (first in first out) order.
