Computer died; can I switch security to new computer?

My ASUS computer died. Fry's gave me a credit and I bought this new computer. I still have a paid up account here at avast that goes until the end of next year (2018). Can that account be transferred to my new computer?

Hi Asyn! I clicked on the link you provided for the OP but it requires that you uninstall Avast from your old device. My problem is that I can't access anything on my old laptop because the hard drive totally bit the dust. Can't even hard boot it. Any suggestions as to what I can do in this situation? While at your account, download the license file there.
Use it to activated your subscription after installing avast on the new system.
