Virus alert by starting Outlook 2k from website

Today I encountered a remarkable experience with Avast! 4. I wanted to send two e-mails to in The Netherlands well known Internet providers, not some client of them, but to the provider itself.  I did this by clicking on their site on the appropriate spot.  Outlook (2000 + SR + all updates installed, WinXP + SP1 + all other updates) started and before I could start typing my message text Avast! 4 gave an alert:  Virus!  Of course I allowed to delete the new, not used message in Outlook and started the procedure again.  Then it worked fine without a virus alert.

Just guessing here, but try scanning your hard drive (the one with Office on it), maybe one of the files is infected.
