Select the Scheduler folder and use the "Scheduler" menu, or the corresponding toolbar icon? ;)

I'll try later. Thanks. The last time I've searched for this I could not find a 'task' for boot time scanning into the Scheduler.

I am able to run the simple user interface and am able to complete a scan, but AVAST is not detecting any malware.

Please help ... what should I do next?

Maybe you need to download, install, update and run www.ewido.net
If sched.exe is not there is because something is corrupting your installation...

Why just add this option in the item 'available tasks' as below?
Better if you have more scheduling options, like: at boot time, at logon time, etc. Today, besides what is written, the scheduler is not that powerfull.
