I have been trying to fix my limewire for a week and when I get onto it, it tells me that their is a fatal error with java, can someone help me, thanks.

Although this is avast! forum... and not a lot of users seem to be using limewire, I'll suggest you download and install the last Java Runtime Environment if you didn't do it yet. Other possibility is giving us more info: operational system, version of JRE and limewire, the text of the error message, etc.

I also says something about java 1:5:0_06, and it says that it is not running correctly.

     Rather than "fixing" the "suspect" Limewire, why not
     uninstall it and replace it with the safer & "cleaner"
     Shareaza, available from www.shareaza.com !?
     As to "Java", go to your Internet Options, click "Advanced",
     look through the listing until you came across "Java" & let
     us know what it says .

(Check Box) Use JRE 1.5.0_06 for <applet> (Requires restart)

That is all it has under java, should I check the check box or not.

How do you get tv shows off of shareaza, because that is what I would like to watch.

Well i suggest you first get familiar with the program, you know read the program help or visit -- SHAREAZA WIKI -- or you could go to the their -- FORUM -- for help and info also ... ;)

     Yes, check the box under "Java ( Sun )" in Internet Options-
     Advanced menu .
