system boot scan hung up
« on: July 05, 2006, 10:01:32 AM »
yesterday I've downloaded the latest Avast! And he wanted to do a system check on my windows XP system. When he found a Trojan he prompted what to do and i had to type a number to select my chose. but he doesn't respond to what a type... so he wont go any further.

Is there a scan when windows is running or is this a known issue and you can help me further?

Hello and Welcome :)

What kind of keyboard do you use? Is your keyboard an USB one?

OK, then can you try to enable USB/Wireless keyboards/mice in your BIOS settings so they can be detected and used in a non windows environment ?
