NEW BETA version: Avast 17.6.2305

Hi everyone,
new beta version 17.6.2305 has just been released. We have skipped version 2304.

What's new:

• Fixed blocking of traffic from virtual machines by firewall

Known issues:

• Offline installation of Avast does not work without network

How to install:
1. Update from your existing Avast version via Settings -> Update -> Update program
2. Or you can download and install from here

A new build nr. means normally a Beta, and not a stable version

But why is Sensitive Data Shield not available in this Beta, as you are rolling it out for testing anyway ?

Whilst the Title clearly states this is a New Version, but the Topic is in the Beta - Avast sub-forum

Plus the Download location would appear to be that of the regular builds and not Beta.  See attached image of a previous regular release https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=204588.0, this has the same download locations.

Downloading the offline -http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe installer indicates this is avast 17.5.3585.0 (build version number) not 17.6.xxxx

Confusion reigns.

I was told that by release 17.6 the problem with the Behavior Shield being off almost each time the system is restated would be fixed.
Has this problem been addressed and fixed as promised

yes, we did some changes for the beta build.
Could you let us know if you still have the issue with the start of the Behavior Shield with this Beta build?

@ PDI, I've installed the beta, restarted as requested after the update without problems.
Have since the install restarted the system 3 times without problems. All modules worked as they should.
I've also turned off the system 3 times and started the system after the shut down without incident.
Right now, I'm happy to see the Behavior Shield non start problem seems to have been fixed.

If this fix is included (as it would appear), then it should be included in the change log/fixes as it certainly affected a number of users who took the time to report it in the forums.
