Captcha with every new tab in chrome
« on: August 09, 2017, 05:20:40 PM »
Hello,

Since i am trying Avast primier (7 days now) i get a box first when i am opening a new tab in Chrome.
Then i have to fill in 4 digits (random numbers or letters) and then it goes to the requested page.

especially when i am browsing on aliexpress, then every tab i open has a captcha first, other pages sometimes.

Before i had other security packs like bullguard or bitdefender and didn't had this before.

Anyone know how to disable that ?

Whilst I don't use Chrome, I haven't heard of this in the forums before and it is hard to be first in these active forums.

My default browser is Firefox and I don't see it there, as Pondus mentions a screenshot might help us.

Chrome is my default browser and that's not anything I've ever seen.
As stated, a screenshot  might be helpful. Also the web address of the site where you have this problem.

I get that on a particular site ( http://www.watchfree.to/tv-2a2cf8-Dark-Matter-tv-show-online-free-putlocker.html/season-3-episode-10 )If you click on direct link - vidzitv

I think it has nothing to do with avast.
Actually I get that  with FF, Opera, Chrome and seamonkey.

You are correct Tangy,
This is site related and not anything to do with Avast.
It also isn't an answer from ronverheul whose question needs to be answered.

@ Bob
Few months ago Vidzi.tv did not have the aforementioned  security test. Sometimes I have to tick squares that have either cars or street signs or whatever and then I can access the site. Occasionally I have to do it more than once. I reckon that the only way to do it is to install  a chrome anticaptcha add on.

Never tried any of those I do not know whether they work or not.
