google/chrome is not being locked.
« on: August 17, 2017, 01:29:19 PM »
Whenever I close my browser (chrome) and open it again, I am still logged in to my google account, therefore my e-mail. Is there a way to lock that too?
Also, it seems that I am permanently logged in to chrome.
I wish that every time I log out or close my browser, my master password is needed to access my google accounts. How can I do that?

I have the latest version of Avast free.

Thank you,
Marianna

This has nothing to do with avast passwords but with the settings you have in Chrome.

In chrome you can clear all cookies (sites are storing information which keeps you logged in in there) by enabling option
"Keep local data only until you quit the browser"
here (put following URL to address bar):
chrome://settings/content/cookies

If you want to have your Avast passwords locked every time you quit the browser the you can go to Avast -> Settings -> Passwords
and check "Lock Avast Passwords after closing internet browser"
