Saving using password to the history
« on: August 21, 2017, 10:54:47 PM »
Hello Avast,
I wanted to change a password, but auto generation button wasn't displayed on a form on the site. So, at first I had intered into the Avast Passwords so change a password there and copy him to the form. After i had saved form at the site ,and extension for browser asked for save password. I press yes.
But at once i had understood that my new password had saved to history, and that he became avaliable easier. I had made the copy of resource authentication data and delete old data that my new password doesn't be at a history.
History of passwords protected as well as using password?

Hello, I'm sorry but I don't get what you are asking for.
Password item you have stored retains password value history, it is accessible via Password manager UI (in Avast UI) you just open detail on item of your interest and then by clicking on Password history link you can get the history (note that current password is not listed there) If the link is missing there then it indicates there was no previous password value stored with the item.
