problems removing avast secure browser

Hello, i am writing here today because i am having problems removing avast secure browser. Every time i try to un-install it, i get an error about 2 minutes after clicking on remove in add remove programs. The error message is : Failed to retrieve configuration settings. please check your internet connection.

-I also tried adding /uninstall at the end of the target box for the shortcut.
-I even tried avast removal tool without sucess.

What would be the next step ?

Hello Asyn, thank you for your reply. Unfortunately i already tried that support article and the secure browser does not appear in the components list. I'm guessing maybe because i'm on the newest version of avast ?

Strange, I'm beta tester but haven't seen the new browser yet.
Anyway, best you wait for a reply from the browser devs... Cheers

Hello Bob, thank you for your reply. That was the easy option haha. As mentionned in my first message, that is the first thing i tried. Everytime i try clicking un-install, nothing happens for about 2 minutes then that error messages pops up.

I did it the old fashioned way. opened registry, deleted everything relate to "secure browser" and then deleted the folder.
