Sasha that is a 600 dollar price cut from the previous PowerPC 17 inch based laptop.

For a desktop i recommend a iMac

Wow this is the most amazing notebook I have seen from Mac yet. But Sasha if you are interested in a Mac if I were you I would wait until the new OS X 10.5 is released (later this year or early next year) but thats just me. You could always pay $150.00 USD to upgrade later.

thats $129 to upgrade and its not an upgrade its the full retail version (yes the full retail version of OS X is less than the upgrade for XP Pro)

also 10.5 will have the final version of Boot Camp right now it is still bets (although an impressively good one)

Sorry about the price confusion. Yes it is the full retail version for $129 USD and it is much cheaper the XP Pro upgrade. It is an awesome OS for a very resonable price. But as I have said in the past there is not enough software out there for OS X yet.

@Mac

I have heard people say that there is no way to uninstall programs that are on OS X. How do you uninstall programs???

justin to uninstall any program simply drag its icon from the applications folder to the trash
