Avast and Comodo Firewall
« on: November 19, 2017, 12:21:40 AM »
Are Avast Free and Comodo Free Firewall a good combination? If not, can anyone recommend me a better free firewall solution? Thanks.

I've been running both for some years and so far there don't seem to have been any problems.
I have VirusScope enabled - just don't try to run Comodo's AV at the same time as Avast!
W7 Pro SP1 32 bit
Intel Core i5 5675C; 4GB DDR3 1600 RAM
Avast!: 2328; Comodo Firewall

Do you mean that I should disable some AV features in the Firewall aplication or that I just shouldn't use their AV?  :-\

Never use more than one resident AV.
I personally use the free version of Avast and the firewall that's already part of Windows. Works well if you're using Windows 7 and up.
