This survey is the wrong place for this request, it is specifically about the my.avast.com account.

Also this function has been in avast for some considerable time (many, many years), not that I have ever managed to get it to work.

I have it working just fine in my Avast installs. You have to configure an SMTP server correctly for it to work. The main problem with that is it's not exactly something user friendly to do, and your ISP may block connections on port 25 and port 465 for spam reasons. Integrating it into My Avast might be a good option since then the user doesn't have to worry about the SMTP Relay.

I know what is required, I have only been using avast for over 13 years, every attempt to get it to worked failed.  The test email function works, but a live email after an avast alert simply fails, no error, just no email.

I actually have no use for it, my tests essentially have been after someone asks the question in the forums and I test it again (but not once has it worked).

I use the avast account about once a month, sometimes once a week.  A quibble I have is the hardware section is not working properly, i.e., hard drives not detected, etc.,.

Useful for monitoring other family member's systems and finding issues reported on their systems.

I'd not remove this feature as it is a central location for avast definitions and program versions for more than one system.

I personally think this is a feature that should be enhanced not abandoned.

I'd Vote for Enhancing the Avast Account as I use it once a month to check other house hold systems I manage, as normally not always using those myself, normally using my main system, but still like to check hardware status and software status and such.    So Please just enhance the account feature, and while your at it, bring back Statistics to the local Avast

I've been using for many years, very happily. At the moment I use AVAST premium for 2 minutes, then the system goes down, then for another two minutes, then it goes down again, and so on and so on. I've contacted you for some help, but no-one has responded. I see from the various discussions on this and other forums that this is an issue you don't seem able to fix. Should I just give up now and find another provider? Thank you.

Please start your own topic describing the problem so it can be addressed. :)
